So I Married A Vegan Caters!
We did it!
I am proud to say that with the help of some friends we pulled off a lovely catered affair for 75 hungry individuals. I had a lot of fun doing it. I love cooking for people and I love getting paid to cook for people even MORE!
The menu consisted of winter soup shooters, golden lentil dumplings, hummus and muhammara, roasted sweet & spicy nuts and a few vegetarian selections I made upon the request of our host. We also made some delicious winter themed cookies including ginger snaps, pumpkin cookies with brown sugar icing, chai spiced almond cookies and had some spiced cider out for everyone to enjoy.
I had a blast. Hopefully we get some more gigs out of this! Keep us in mind for your next Vegan friendly event :)
