Soyrizo Party Pizza
Boy do I love Soyrizo. It’s just so good and it’s easy to cook with. Don’t lie- you like it too.
I saw a pizza similar to this on A Cozy Kitchen and I immediately wanted it. Soyrizo and corn and avocado? Gimme.
The cheese is a homemade tofu ricotta. It’s a simple recipe and really just adds a creamy consistency to the pizza.
The dough is a cornmeal crust, the recipe is...
Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins
This recipe is from Isa Moskowitz’s Vegan With A Vengeance. It’s a good recipe but the muffins weren’t as sweet as I would have liked. I think that is intentional on her part but I like a sweet muffin…that sounds weird.
Anyways, I also think next time i’ll add some lemon extract. I’m going to play around with this recipe and try to come up with an almond...

Sunchoke & Kale Risotto
The sun is coming out and Portlanders everywhere are enjoying the beautiful outdoors. We are especially thankful for the farmers markets that pop up this time of year. Delicious fruits and veggies plus people watching makes for a great afternoon.
This past Saturday we bought some of my favorite North Western veggies: sunchokes! I wanted to do something different with them so I decided to make a...
Chocolate Peanut Butter Pillows
These little babies are incredible. Once again Isa Chandra Moskowitz has WOWed me. Check out this fabulous recipe on theppk.com and behold the splendor of chocolatey-peanutty wonder!
Broccoli Cheez Soup
I am rapidly falling in love with this recipe.
I honestly never cared for broccoli cheese soup before I became a vegan and suddenly now I LOVE it!
This recipe is from one of my favorite recipe resources: VegNews magazine. This soup is simple, delicious and so creamy. I think this recipe is flawless and it comes out great every time I make it.
You will need an immersion blender for this. Just...
